Marilyn Kontrafouris-Eleftheriou RN,MN was born in Brooklyn, NY and spent most of her youth in Providence, RI. She received her Bachelor degree from Rhode Island College and then moved to Marietta. After working a couple of years as an NICU and pediatric nurse, she decided to get a masters degree in pediatric nursing from Emory University. After receiving her degree, she worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist in private practice. She has taught staff on pediatric gastroenterology and been a guest speaker at several community events. Currently, she works part time as an NICU nurse and as a legal nurse consultant. Her favorite career is being a mother to her three daughters ages 17, 15 and 13. She enjoys reading, cooking and family.
