Kendall Newsome of Roswell was already in custody on a number of unrelated drug charges when the warrant was issued Thursday. He was released early this evening after spending 40 days in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The other suspect, John Bradley Whitten of East Cobb, was in the county jail as recently as April 24 on unrelated drug and traffic charges.
