Unbeaten Lassiter Likely No. 1 Team

The Trojans finished their regular season a perfect 10-0; see who they and Kell will be playing in the state playoffs next weekend.

Lassiter High School has been perfect before in a football regular season.

But this time, the Trojans will enter the state playoffs with an even loftier status than in 2009, when they fell to Colquitt County in the first round after going 10-0.

Thanks to Colquitt's stunning win over No. 1 Camden County on Friday, second-ranked Lassiter is expected to take over the top spot in the polls when the Georgia High School Association playoffs begin next weekend.
