More Colleges Chase Lassiter's Jenkins

The wide receiver is waiting to see what offers emerge before he names a top three.

The recruiting of wide receiver Ryan Jenkins is picking up steam just when he was planning to narrow his choices.

New colleges are showing interest in the Northeast Cobb junior, GoUpstate.com reports, so he’s going to wait a few more weeks to name his top three. He had planned to narrow his list over the weekend.

Jenkins told the website he now expects an offer from the University of Washington and hopes to visit Seattle in addition to visits to the UGA campus in Athens, Southern Cal and UCLA.
