'Lace Up With Lax' At Pope

Fans attending Thursday's home game with Lassiter are asked to bring a pair of new children's shoes to benefit My Sister's House.

On Thursday the boys lacrosse team at Pope High School will hold "Lace Up With Lax" to benefit My Sister's House, a homeless shelter in Atlanta.

Fans are asked to bring a NEW pair of children's shoes to the games against Lassiter (from infant through youth sizes) to donate to babies and young children.

The junior varsity game begins at 5:55 p.m. and the varsity game starts at 7:45 p.m.

Those who bring shoes will be entered into a raffle to win a prize basket from Anytime Fitness including a year's membership. "Lace Up With Lax" T-shirts are $10 and will be on sale at the school during the lunch period through next Friday, April 5.
