Kell (2-1) at East Paulding (3-0) – In what might be the Game of the Week in metro Atlanta, the Longhorns begin Region 5-AAAA play by traveling to East Paulding tonight. The Raiders are ranked sixth in the state while is directly behind them as the seventh-best GHSA 4A team, according to the Associated Press.
The Longhorns are holding teams to just 11.3 points per game and East Paulding is scoring 42.3 per game. Can Kell’s defense hold?
North Paulding (2-1) at Sprayberry (1-2) – The Yellow Jackets held off Kennesaw Mountain last week for their first win of the season. Almost 70 percent of ’s yardage came on the ground in its win with running back Corey Cooper and quarterback Corbin Jackson each rushing past the century mark. Similar running feats will be needed if the Yellow Jackets want a Region 5-AAAA win tonight.
