Ex-NFL Star to Hold Cobb Clinic

The event features former MVP LaDainian Tomlinson at Kennesaw Mountain High School.

Former National Football League running back standout LaDainian Tomlinson will be on hand at Kennesaw Mountain High School this week for a football clinic for young players.

The 2013 Elite Football Performance Clinic is conducted by the LaDainian Tomlinson Preparatory Academy, and will take place from Friday through Sunday.

Tomlinson, a former NFL Most Valuable Player for the San Diego Chargers, will be on site to personally direct clinic activities as well as provide instruction to participants. He will be joined by his coaching staff which consists of former collegiate coaches and players, as well as NFL veterans.Β

Registration is open to all student-athletes in the Metro-Atlanta area in grades 1-12. The clinic will feature various instructional stations for grades 1-5 that are designed to focus on teaching and perfecting technique for all positions, as well as speed and agility.Β 

For participants in grades 6-12, the program will consist of position drills, recruiting information for parents and student-athletes, Core Course GPA Information, and much more.
