National Red Ribbon Week Volunteers Needed

Lassiter High School PTSA needs volunteers to help with this program that urges students to not use and abuse drugs and alcohol.

The Lassiter High School PTSA is looking for volunteers to assist with the National Red Ribbon Week, which is the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention program reaching out to millions of students the last week of October each year.

In addition to messages urging students to not use and abuse drugs and alcohol, the Lassiter PTSA is putting a "positive" spin on the messages sent with a red "e" (ready) campaign which will encourage students to be "ready for anything" by making good choices.

Models of students and adults from the Lassiter community who have made good choices will be highlighted.
