East Cobb County Council 2011 Reflections Winners

McCleskey Middle School students' Reflections Program winning entries. Students created and submitted works of art in six areas to their PTSA: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts.

McCleskey Middle School PTSA is proud to announce that the following students’ Reflections Program entries for the theme “Diversity Means…” have been chosen by the East Cobb County Council to move on to the Georgia PTA state level:

Isabella Layton, 7 Grade, Film Production

Abby McAlpine, 7 Grade, Literature

The Reflections Program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students created and submitted works of art in six areas to their PTSA: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage).

First and second place winners move on to judging at the council level. Winning entries at the council level may qualify to move on to state and national competition.
