The Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department announced this week the following updates on Northeast Cobb-area projects funded with money approved by voters in the 2011 Cobb SPLOST referendum:
- Construction for the field renovations at Noonday Park is scheduled to begin in December. The park will be closed for construction until late July of 2013.
- The proposals for design of improvements at Sandy Plains Park were evaluated and jB+a, Inc. was selected to provide design services.
