Cobb Celebrates King's Birthday
The Cobb NAACP and Cobb County will hold official observances Monday morning.

All Cobb residents are invited to celebrate the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at our 27th annual event 9 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21. The celebration is sponsored by Cobb County Branch NAACP and Cobb County Government.
It will be held at Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta. This year's theme is "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work."

The event is free and open to the public and will include the annual presentation of the “Living the Dream” award to a community member who demonstrates the ideals King exemplified.
