Additional Sidewalks for Ebenezer Road

Shortly after the passage of the 2011 SPLOST, a sidewalk committee was formed to identify and prioritize locations where sidewalks are needed.

Addison Elementary School families will soon be enjoying new sidewalks along Ebenezer Road. The sidewalk installation project will go from Knight Road on the east side of Ebenezer Road and from Oak Crest Trail on the west side of Ebenezer Road to Sandy Plains Road. There is existing sidewalk on each side of the road that new sidewalks will be tying into.Β Β

"Design is currently underway and construction is scheduled to start at the end of 2012.Β  We will not know who the contractor is until the project is let to construction at the end of this year," Cobb County Department of Transportation District 3 Engineer Scott Jordan told Northeast Cobb Patch.
