Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Cobb

The shooting was reported on Jamerson Forest Circle in East Cobb.

Update (12 a.m. Friday): According to Cobb Police, the man who was arrested outside the home on Jamerson Forest Circle was the man who called 911.

"He did call 911. We do not know the relationship between him and the deceased female inside the residence," Sgt. Dana Pierce said to FOX 5 Atlanta.

Update (11 p.m.): According to FOX 5 Atlanta, one person was taken into custody in the aftermath of the shooting. Additionally, the victim has been identified as a female.

are responding to a fatal shooting that was reported on Jamerson Forest Circle in East Cobb County.

Cobb PIO Sgt. Dana Pierce is en route to the scene.

He should not hate the man because of his vice, or love the vice because of the man."
