Atlanta Police Officer Shot Near West End Mall 

At approximately 7:00 p.m. Friday, Cascade Patch confirmed word that an Atlanta Police Officer had received a gunshot wound to the face near West End Mall and was transported to Grady Hospital for treatment.  The officer shot was 35 year-old Reggie Robinson.

Officer Carlos Campos reported to the media that, "an Atlanta Police Officer was shot and has been transported to Grady Hospital for treatment. Preliminary information is that the officer is stable at this time." Read more on Cascade Patch.

Man Reportedly Found Shot in Yard

Over 80 Auto Thefts in Two Cascade Neighborhoods

Frustrated residents in the Capitol View and Sylvan Hills neighborhoods are fed up with criminals coming in on nearly a daily basis to steal their cars, and damage their property.

According to police reports, there have been over 80 auto thefts alone, in the past three months.  This does not include the reports of car break-ins and home break-ins that residents say happen almost every night. Read more on Cascade Patch
