Zaxby's Coming to Sandy Plains Road
Construction is beginning near the intersection of Post Oak Tritt Road.
The Athens-based Zaxby's fast food chicken chain is coming to Northeast Cobb.
The Marietta Daily Journal reported Wednesday that a new Zaxby's location on Sandy Plains Road is under construction and will employ up to 50 people.
The addition will bring to Cobb a total of 14 Zaxby's restuarants, including two in East Cobb, on Johnson Ferry Road and on Lower Roswell Road.

Zaxby's operates nearly 600 locations in 13 states, mostly in the South.
