Valerie Hoff has a Money Saving Tip segment on 11Alive called VALues. Tonight, one of our local family-owned businesses will be featured. Channel 11 followed Doug Meadows, owner of , through the process of custom making jewelry from start to finish.
11Alive viewers will learn about bringing in old gold and stones and turning them into new valuable pieces they will cherish for years to come.
Meadows is a master jeweler and is well loved by the community. Just last year, he relocated his store about two miles to the Publix shopping center at the intersection of Sandy Plains and Shallowford. The new location has proved to be the perfect location, as it is said to be one of the busiest Publix stores in the south.
