Sara Swann Graduates from Mercer University

The Northeast Cobb woman earned a Master of Education.

Sara E. Swann earned a Master of Education in secondary education from the Tift College of Education of Mercer University during the spring commencement ceremony on the University's Atlanta Campus. It was the first campus-wide outdoor commencement held at the Cecil B. Day Graduate and Professional Campus.

The ceremony included more than 6,000 attendees, and more than 1,000 participants from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, the James and Carolyn McAfee School of Theology, the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics, Tift College of Education and College of Continuing and Professional Studies.

In all, the University held four ceremonies in the spring in Macon and Atlanta and conferred more than 1,700 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
