Life University Founder Sid Williams Dies

Dr. Sid Williams, the founder of Marietta's Life University, has died.

The Marietta Daily Journal reported Thursday that Williams, who suffered a stroke late last year, passed away this morning, and that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to The B. J. Palmer Historic Home Foundation. Read more on East Cobb Patch.

Man Wanted in Wife's Death Captured

John Kristofak, wanted for the murder of his ex-wife at her East Cobb home, was arrested early Thursday morning.

The Cobb County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task Force took him into custody, according to the Cobb Police Department, which issued a statement at 8:30 this morning. Read more on East Cobb Patch.

Fatal Crash Kills Cartersville Women, Infant
