5. The First Annual Partnership Conference is hosted by the Acworth-based North American Haiti Partnership (NAHP). The gathering is to inform by providing comprehensive, accurate and direct information on ministries in Haiti, to motivate churches and individuals to follow God's leading to become more deeply involved, and to connect local churches, agencies and individuals of like interest for cooperation. The conference will provide a forum for those already serving in Haiti to tell their stories, present their needs, and invite others to join them.  This includes short-term and long-term workers, supporters, family members, pastors, representatives of organizations, leaders of Haitian ministries and church members.

It is also an opportunity for those individuals and churches who believe that they are called to minister to the church in Haiti, but as yet have not found a specific opportunity in which to serve. $50 per person includes meals and materials (checks payable to North American Haiti Partnership). The conference is today starting at 10 a.m. through Saturday, 12 p.m. at the Hope Presbyterian Church, 4101 Sandy Plains Road.
