Debt Collectors Recruiting in Northeast Cobb

Gather around the water cooler to discuss hot topics in Northeast Cobb today, April 7.

1. Pokémon Leagues are a fun way for kids to get involved in playing Pokémon games with other Pokémon fans. A local Pokémon league, Battle Factory, is meeting at McDonald's, 2782 Sandy Plains Road, at 5 p.m. Join in the fun! For more information about this league and schedule click here. 2. Sprayberry High School Band members are working at the Rome Braves Concessions. Band families have the opportunity to work the Sprayberry Band sponsored concession stands at Rome Braves Baseball and Georgia Tech baseball/football /basketball home games for an easy way to raise band pledge fees. There is a Debt Collectors Recruiting at the Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, Georgia Department of Labor, 465 Big Shanty Road, today 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Greenburg Wallace & Associates will be at the Cobb Cherokee Career Center interviewing for Professional Debt Collectors. Positions require 6 months sales or telemarketng experience, the ability to type 40 words per minute, and a valid driver's license. The duties involve working 60-80 accounts daily. Pay is 20% commission after $3,000 weekly budget is met, plus bonuses.

5. Are you a woman struggling through divorce? For women who are contemplating divorce or are currently in the divorce process, the Women’s Divorce Support Group, sponsored by Visions A New, will meet at the East Cobb Government Center  located at 4400 Lower Roswell Road. 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. For more information, go to www.VisionsANew.org or call 770- 953-2882.
