Citizen Oversight Committee Meeting

1. At Tuesday's meeting Board of Commissioners approved a rezoning of the Title Max property located at 4861 Canton Road, on the west side of Canton Road, north of Jamerson Road. The property is rezoned from GC to NRC for the purpose of an Addition of an Insurance Component.

2. The Board of Commissioners voted 4-0 against Marietta Recycling's special land-use permit to operate a metal scrap yard and transfer station near East Cobb Baseball. Click here to watch a video report of the meeting here.

3. Jenny Pruitt will be the guest speaker at The Northeast Cobb Business Association's monthly luncheon. Pruitt's highly successful real estate career is well known. 4. Two important county meetings today: The Citizen Oversight Committee meeting at 9 a.m. 100 Cherokee St., Suite 250, and The Board of Tax Assessors meeting, 10 a.m. 736 Whitlock Ave.
