Get Out to the Sprayberry Arts and Crafts Show
It's Thursday, the weekend is around the corner, and you have no idea what to do. At Northeast Cobb Patch, we have compiled the best bets for a great weekend.
Essential Marietta happenings for the weekend:
1. 29th Annual Sprayberry Arts & Crafts Show with over 150 arts, crafts, raffle and great food. Proceeds go to Sprayberry High School PTSA. Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 .pm. Sunday: 12-4 p.m. Sprayberry High School, 2525 Sandy Plains Road. More info: 770-578-3200.
2. Free Arts and Crafts classes at on Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Ages 3 and up. Crafts include Let’s Eat Placemat, a Silly Scarecrow, a Terrific Turkey Centerpiece and Autumn Wind Chime. Lakeshore Learning Store, 4287 Roswell Road. More info: 770-578-3100.

3. On Saturday, will sponsor a Day of Free Dentistry with Drs. Azita and Michael Mansouri.
Adults ages 18+ will be seen on a first come, first-served basis between 6am and 4pm at Marietta Family Dental Care, 4720 Lower Roswell Road.

Free services include one cleaning, filling or extraction.

4. The Marietta Neighborhood Senior Center staff will host the “Incredible Yard Sale” Friday 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Senior Day Center located at 277 Fairground St. This fundraiser will help purchase patio furnishings for the new Senior Wellness Center on Powder Springs Street. If you would like to donate items for the sale, call Geneva Eddington at 770-528-5352.
5. is opening their studios to the public for three days only this weekend:
Friday 6 p.m-10p.m. (Reception)
Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Twenty-three artists will open their studios. Free admission and parking, raffles in several studios. The Artisan Resource Center is 43,000 square feet of fine and functional art space.
The event will include an artists’s market, demonstrations, exhibits by resident artists and craftsmen and more.
Shop for large and small scale paintings, jewelry, stained glass, glass beads, textiles, wood turnings, handcrafted furniture and sculptures.
