Cobb Police are searching for a suspect in the robbery of a Northeast Cobb fast food restaurant Wednesday.
Sgt. Dana Pierce said that a black male entered the Arby's location at 2626 Sandy Plains Road around 8 p.m. Wednesday and demanded cash from a store safe. After the manager complied, Pierce said the suspect left the scene in a two-door sedan with what was described as a "dull red paint job."
Pierce said the suspect is between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9 inches tall and is in his late teens to early 20s. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark hoodie, a black mask and white Under Armour gloves, Pierce said.
The suspect also was carrying a handgun and a blue and red backpack, according to police.
