ReplyIt does happen. A friend of mine was robbed in broad daylight. She was distracted by one man saying she needed to point the back fence line because they were working on the yard behind hers. After much prodding she finally stepped outside and when she did a 2nd man who she thought was on the side of the house had come all the way around and slipped inside. She went inside and low behold he had already swiped her jewelry and was working on cleaning out her silver. She yelled and he ran out the door. Do remind your elderly neighbors to be suspicious. My friend was a smart cookie and they still tricked her. These shady types are experts at figuring out which homes belong to the elderly where only one person is at home. Great tips. ReplyIt is nice that we even still have friendly community based business' in our growing East Cobb. I pray for some wisdom for these road engineers, because this is messing with a small business' livelihood. In this day and age it is rare to find pockets of community anymore so we must stand with those who create it and maintain it.
