It's been open only for a short time, but Northeast Cobb's newest breakfast-and-brunch place has been judged to be one of the best in the Atlanta area. Atlanta Magazine has put Reveille Cafe on its list of 38 best breakfast places, which is this month's feature cover. Patch wrote about the opening of the Shallowford Road restaurant earlier this year, including some very good reviews about its menu, which features such entrees as Mystical French Toast and a Dyne-O-Mite burger. Reveille Cafe is located in the Sandy Plains Centre Shopping Center.
Stem will be located next to Doug Torbush's restaurant at Merchant's Walk.

The restaurant owner who wanted to give the East Cobb area a unique dining experience his expanding his vision. Doug Torbush announced this week that in April he will be opening Stem, a 39-seat wine and cocktail bar, next to his acclaimed Seed Kitchen and Bar at the Merchant's Walk Shopping Center. According to an item in the AJC's Food and More blog, the idea for Stem grew -- no pun intended -- shortly after Torbush opened Seed in late 2010. The wine bar will serve around 40 different wines priced between $7-$22, as well as small plates of food as accompaniments. In recent weeks, Seed has revised its Sunday brunch menu.
Eight local restaurants were inspected during this time period.
