So you've cleaned out your garage, your attic, the back of your closet . . . but where do you put it all? Your driveway, of course. You dig out the price stickers and folding tables, and you wait for the weekend treasure hunters to flock. But, your neon poster on Old 41 didn't exactly do the trick. Estate, garage and yard sales in our community this weekend.
What is it that we love most about estate, garage and yard sales? I enjoy seeing other people's stuff. It's interesting to discover new objects, tools, jewelry and things that other people can tell you about. The bargains - can't beat'em. Where else can you buy something of quality for less than a dollar? Grab a friend and embark on a fun-filled day of sale hopping. 1. I am a garage and yard sale addict. I've found some great treasures. One of my recent finds was a brand new, high quality child gate that regularly costs $30 in stores. Garage, yard and estate sales in Northeast Cobb this weekend.
I had a great yard sale find last weekend. I bought a dining room table with sculptured stone base and beveled glass top for $100 (plus $40 to have it delivered). My friend visited my home and said that the same table is sold at a department store for $1500. We found the table online, and yes, the table retails for about $1500. So, get out to the community sales because you never know what bargains await you. 1.
