Winter is Coming
In addition to being the shortest day of the year, Dec. 21 is when the world is apparently ending.
Georgia weather is always unpredictable. Last week was fairly cool, but before then no one was busting out the peacoats and heavy jackets because of 70-degree temperatures. I guess autumn still has some time to wind down since the first day of winter isn't until Friday, Dec. 21. And Friday's definitely going to feel like winter, since Weather.com projects the day will bring a chilly high of 49 degrees Fahrenheit and low of 32 degrees in metro Atlanta.
