Possible Lollipop Bandit Arrested

Authorities made the arrest Monday after a weekend robbery in Hiram and a month after Marietta and South Cobb robberies.

Authorities on Monday made an arrest in connection with the Saturday afternoon robbery at the Bank of America branch in Hiram. The suspect could be the Lollipop Bandit responsible for the May 18 robbery of the Regions Bank at 2048 Macland Crossing Circle south of Marietta and the May robbery of the Wells Fargo branch at 5010 Floyd Rd. in South Cobb, according to WSB Radio. Devin Johnson of Powder Springs, 28, faces one count of robbery after being apprehended at a friend’s house in Roswell about 10:30 a.m., according to Detective Donald Roberts of the Hiram Police Department. Poll: Would You Sue Over Fake Facebook Profile?

A cyberbullying case in Cobb lands in court as a middle school student sues two classmates over a Facebook account she believes they set up in her name.

Palmer Middle School student Alexandria Boston has filed a lawsuit against two classmates she believes created a fake Facebook page in her name, reports Roswell Patch. The libel suit, in part, suggests Boston uses drugs and has left obscene and racists posts on other profiles, according to the Associated Press.  Roswell lawyer Natalie Woodward, whose firm just recently moved onto Canton Street, has been hired to represent Boston. According to The American Bar Association Journal, police have said that the incident did not constitute a crime.
