Crime Prevention and Fun at 'National Night Out'
Participants gathered in Northeast Cobb Wednesday evening in honor of the 28th Annual National Night Out (NNO).
Law enforcement held a going away party for drugs and crime at the Target shopping center located at the intersection of Shallowford and Sandy Plains Road as part of the National Night Out campaign. The goal: to make a connection with the community. And seems to be working, even with kids. While safety tips and learning tools were provided to the community, the event also had public safety vehicles, like fire trucks and patrol cars, on display, and provided some back to school entertainment for the kids, including a bounce house, a martial arts demonstration, free food, and games.
