Possible Lollipop Bandit Arrested

Authorities made the arrest Monday after a weekend robbery in Hiram and a month after Marietta and South Cobb robberies.

Authorities on Monday made an arrest in connection with the Saturday afternoon robbery at the Bank of America branch in Hiram. The suspect could be the Lollipop Bandit responsible for the May 18 robbery of the Regions Bank at 2048 Macland Crossing Circle south of Marietta and the May robbery of the Wells Fargo branch at 5010 Floyd Rd. in South Cobb, according to WSB Radio. Devin Johnson of Powder Springs, 28, faces one count of robbery after being apprehended at a friend’s house in Roswell about 10:30 a.m., according to Detective Donald Roberts of the Hiram Police Department.
