Lassiter, Pope Lose Lacrosse Titles

The Trojans fall in overtime after a big rally, and the Greyhounds are unable to recover from an early deficit.

Garrett Shank scored four goals for Lassiter, including one with 55 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 9 after Milton took a 9-7 lead with five minutes left. He also scored the Trojans’ eighth goal. Lassiter trailed 6-3 at halftime and 7-3 early in the third quarter but charged back to tie the score at 7 in front of a frenzied home crowd at The Frank.
