Talenti Gelato has acquired a former Kroger ice cream production facility in Marietta. The expansion represents the addition of up to 100 jobs in Marietta and the state of Georgia. Citizens donated a pint of blood and received a free pint of ice cream.
Bruster's recently held their "Pint for a Pint" special. 20 Pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross in the parking lot of Bruster's on Trickum Rd. About every three months the Red Cross bloodmobile returns to the parking lot and collects blood from locals.
