Talenti Gelato Plant, 100 Jobs Coming to Marietta

Talenti plans to maintain its existing plant in Dallas but relocate its primary production headquarters to the Marietta Industrial Park and begin production later this year.

Talenti Gelato has acquired a former Kroger ice cream production facility in Marietta. The expansion represents the addition of up to 100 jobs in Marietta and the state of Georgia. Talenti plans to maintain its existing plant in Dallas but relocate its primary production headquarters to the Marietta Industrial Park and begin production later this year. “The country’s best-selling gelato will be right at home in one of America’s greatest communities, so hello Marietta,” said Bob Burns, vice president of operations for Talenti, who will be moving to the area to manage the new facility. Pint For A Pint at Bruster's Ice Cream

Citizens donated a pint of blood and received a free pint of ice cream.

Bruster's recently held their "Pint for a Pint" special. 20 Pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross in the parking lot of Bruster's on Trickum Rd. About every three months the Red Cross bloodmobile returns to the parking lot and collects blood from locals.
