This week's Cobb Patch Weekend Spotlight video features Marietta Zombie Walk. The event takes place this Saturday in Marietta Square, and benefits MUST Ministries. The Infestation (gathering) starts at 5 p.m. in Glover Park and the Feeding (Zombie Walk) starts at 6 p.m. Carnival of Doom, in association with Marietta.com, The Strand, Zenith Design Group and Johnnie MacCracken’s Celtic Pub are sponsoring the event.

I've been around the Trick-or-Treat block more than a few times and decorating the outside of the house has become one of the family's favorite things to do each year. What started with a couple of carved pumpkins on the front stoop the night before Halloween has grown into a weekend-long family activity filled with store-bought and hand-made decorations, arts and crafts, and lots of strategy — like whether white trash bags are a fitting replacement for actual sheets when crafting ghosts. 1. Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit Marietta Square for the 36th annual Harvest Square Festival. The Fall arts and crafts festival features a wide variety of unique handmade items from a local artist and craftsmen as well as Fall fun for the entire family. The event also includes Halloween Happenings for children ages 10 and younger. The event takes place as part of Harvest Square and includes games, candy, prizes and a costume contest for children 12 and under. There is even a costume contest for pets. No registration is required for the costume contests. Scarecrows on the Square winners will be announced. The Pumpkin Patch with pumpkin decorating for the kids will be held. 2.
