A Cobb Superior Court Judge has sentenced Waseem Daker to life in prison, plus 47 years, for a 17-year-old murder and stabbing case in East Cobb. Daker was convicted Friday of strangling Karmen Smith in 1995 and stabbing her son, then five years old, at their home. More details come from East Cobb Patch.
