Teacher Spotlight: Victoria Spencer Smith
Smith is an instructor at The Art Place-Mountain View who teaches actors, writers and directors of every discipline how to increase their core awareness of what dropping into character really means.
Victoria Spencer Smith grew up in Atlanta an only child. She says that is probably why she still loves playing cops and robbers. She does not have an accent unless she needs to call on her Southern roots. She visits with her grandmother to enjoy the company, and get the accent right. Smith loves a good laugh and making everyone around her a little happier and free. Her greatest joy (outside of working with dynamic, creative people who trust in the synergy of the universe) is watching her son grow so gracefully and pure of soul. She can always take a lesson or two from an eight year old.
