How about you pay attention. Course maybe if the baby was shaped like a cell phone (they never seemRead More to forget those).

Already this summer there are far too many incidents of children and pets being left to die in hotRead More cars. Make a statement. Be alert. Let others know that this negligence is unacceptable. Buy a shirt, form a team, grab your friends and volunteer some time to do a car check the next time you are in a hot parking lot. Bring a hammer or crowbar just in case. This is a two tier project. First, preorder your t-shirt, tank top or hoody at http://teespring.com/windowbreaker T-shirt sales goal = 50 shirts in 20 days. For those who not familiar with teespring. com, pre-order your shirt on reserve. When the goal of 50 shirts is met or exceeded, shirts will be shipped to you by the company. If the goal is not met, the order is cancelled and no money is charged to you or your credit card. Proceeds from shirt sales will be reinvested to purchase bumper stickers that will be available locally and online. Bumper stickers will spread the message to a greater audience and remind the ignorant that we are paying attention - even if they are not! It is our moral obligation to protect those who cannot protect themselves. There comes a time when we are called to act. The time to act is now before another victim headlines the news. Will you choose to be part of the answer? I did. I ordered my shirt last night. Join this worthwhile cause TODAY! Please share

Great idea and kudos to this kid who invented this but this poor kid is in for a rude awakening whenRead More some moron tries to sue him because he put it in his car and it broke or fell off and the person didn't get reminded that his baby was in the car and it died. Sorry but this is the society we have raised!

"Clearance Auto" will give you a break if you buy two or more types of insurance. You mayRead More also get a reduction if you have more than one vehicle insured with the same company.

Thanks for this article!! I just nominated Nobis Works, an amazing non-profit that prepares ourRead More disabled community (veterens, students, homeless, ect.) to work. They are fantastic!!

DavidP@peta.org asked that the following be known: "This in fact did stem from PETA'sRead More undercover investigator's five months at the facility documenting the conditions and then our working behind-the-scenes with the authorities in the months since. (The way it's worded looks as if we were tipped-off about the conditions and turned that information over to the authorities and washed our hands of it, but neither the ASPCA nor the authorities knew anything about the conditions inside of Caboodle Ranch during the time that we were in there until we concluded our investigation and got in touch with the authorities.) Thanks again! David."

My fiance and I are devastated! Due to his medical condition, we had to place his cats there (afterRead More thoroughly checking them out). What happened to the vet that supposedly went there every month?? What happened to the spca that gave him a glowing recommendation?? We even saw the ranch on TV and recognized our cats...they looked amazing! This is a travesty!! ML Healy

Hi ML, You and your fiance made the best decision possible for your cats with the information thatRead More you had. Do not beat yourself up...you did everything right. Craig Grant fooled many people and agencies. We are only now beginning to understand how such deplorable conditions could've existed at a sanctuary featured on television and given glowing recommendations. I hope that the answers to your questions will come through the ASPCA and/or PETA as the close of this horrific animal cruelty case. You might want to visit their websites periodically to keep updated on the case. My heart goes out to you.

The Facebook lists of dogs and cats are just a fraction of those available at the shelter. There areRead More around 400 plus animals at the shelter daily...many never get their photos taken or are even given a name. The dogs and cats are all very special and each one eagerly waits for someone to choose them and take them to a new home where they are loved.

I'm excited about the Jan. 21 transport that will include shelter cats! Cobb volunteers and generousRead More residents made it possible.

Share this in all Patch publications any time it happens to show folks what is happening and they can help via donating any amount. NONE is too small.
