I went in with my measurements and the guy at the front explained how my measurements were probably off and that I needed to adjust my sizes for wiggle room. He even drew a picture.
ALL seven of my screen fit perfectly! They were VERY friendly and helpful.
I've read other reviews where people measured wrong and then were mad with the no return policy. Measure twice and then LISTEN to what the expert behind the counter says.
Check out the reviews on askdale.com. In a way, it made me feel good to read the reviews there. I thought that this owner treated me with such disrespect because I was a woman. The mistake on a simple latch hook on one screen was on their part - not mine. I gave the measurements on the phone to the receptionist. He, the owner, first accused me of lying - said that they never took measurements on the phone. Next, he told me that "I" had to measure and mark where I wanted the loop latch to be placed. I asked that he do it since he was the professional. He said......"I am going to give you one last chance to do it." Or what......hit me? I felt so threatened that I considered calling the police. He has no clue as to customer service & in my opinion, he is nothing but a bully. The fact that I was a customer was of no importance to him. My words were......"I am just stunned." I would never recommend this business to anyone - residential or commercial.
