Élon Salon Hosts Breast Cancer Fund-Raiser
Northeast Cobb businesses have teamed up to raise money for breast cancer.
is hosting a barbeque Sunday to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness. They have partnered with , and . Stop by to enjoy Northeast Cobb's best barbeque, pork, chicken, baked beans and coleslaw. A volunteer vendor will offer great chili.
A disc jockey will spin music as great food, dancing, and a raffle is enjoyed.
Businesses that donated gift certificates for the raffle include , Blush, , and more.

Visit the barbeque and festivities Sunday 11 a.m. at élon Salon, 695 Piedmont Rd. One block west of Canton Rd.
The fund-raiser ends when the food runs out.

In addition to the barbeque, élon is holding a cut-a-thon. "This is our fifth annual cut-a-thon and we are so proud to add to the $68,000 we have raised in previous years," Katie Broome of élon Salon told Northeast Cobb Patch. "Just like before, we will be donating to Its the Journey Inc., a nonprofit that helps people in the state of Georgia."
