MUST Readies for Thanksgiving

One of Cobb's most prominent charities is collecting donations and accepting volunteers for their holiday rush.

is preparing to serve Thanksgiving dinner to more than 1,000 families this year, but they need your help to reach that goal.

In order to fix the Thanksgiving boxes, they need to collect several items through donations, said Teri Shields, MUST Thanksgiving coordinator.

“The churches in the area have been very generous with their contributions and have made a huge impact on our ability to feed more families this year than last,” Shields said. “This is at a time when many are feeling the impact of our current economic situation.”
