MUST Ministries, American Heart Association Need Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities in and around Northeast Cobb.

Being able to volunteer and have an impact on the community that you live in can be very rewarding. Northeast Cobb Patch is committed to helping residents find opportunities to help and serve their surrounding community.

1. MUST Ministries needs administrative and clerical volunteers. Volunteers will assist with various clerical and office duties. Contact Jenaila Hawkins Volunteer Coordinator at 770-790-3873 or jhawkins@mustministries.org for more information.

2. MUST Ministries also needs volunteers to help with stocking the food pantry. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and must be 18 years or older unless otherwise approved. Contact Jenaila Coordinator at 770-790-3873 or jhawkins@mustministries.org.

3. The American Heart Association needs volunteers to assist with administrative work. Volunteers will be responsible for answering phones, greeting customers, and typing documents in Microsoft Office.

4. The A.G. Rhodes Home needs volunteers to read to and play games with individuals that live in assisted living homes. Volunteers are needed each day and flexible hours are available.

5. The African American Golf Foundation needs mentors and tutors. Minimum length of service is six months and minimum of one hour per week. Volunteers are needed Monday - Thursday from 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
