On Tuesday, the girls tennis team from East Cobb defeated Northeast Cobb rival , 5-0. The Walton singles and doubles players did not lose a set in the match. The No. 1 Lady Raiders have won 138 consecutive matches and are the seven-time defending state champions. They are led by No. 1 singles player Emily Zabor, who will play next spring at Alabama. … Walton's second-ranked boys team also coasted by Lassiter, 4-1, and also is undefeated on the season. Danny Bruce played No. 1 singles for the Raiders and won 6-2, 6-3. … The Pope boys shut down , 5-0.
