Meet Your 2012 Sprayberry Yellow Jackets

Returning all-region players Corey Cooper and Atuan Johnson are expected to lead the Jackets in their senior seasons. Cooper, a 5-foot-2, 160 lb. runningback, tore up the field in 2011, leading all rushers with 692 rushing yards and catching 19 passes for 142 yards. These impressive stats led to All-Region First Team honors for Cooper.

Big (6-foot, 200 lb.) linebacker Johnson pummeled opponents into submission with 89 tackles last season, including 9 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and one pass defended. During last week's preseason game versus Campbell High School, Johnson made two tackles, one for a loss.
