Kell Cornerback Langley Commits to Gamecocks

Langley verbally committed to South Carolina on Wednesday, and will be playing against current teammate and future Georgia commit Quincy Mauger.

's football duo of Brendan Langley and Quincy Mauger had hoped to play in the same backfield at the collegiate level, continuing their legacy of excellent football together.

These dreams will not come true, as Langley verbally committed to the University of South Carolina on Wednesday. 

The 6'1", 187 lb Langley said in a press release:

And to Natarvis Chang, my head coach Derek Cook, Eric Burke, and Fabian Stone, who all mentored me throughout this process and kept me level headed. There’s no football like Kell Football" 

Mauger surprised his own mother with his  last month.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Langley's commitment to the Gamecocks is another Georgia heist for Coach Steve Spurrier, who has landed 7 Georgians in his recruiting class of 19 players.
