Saturday was the first ever meeting between the and the Brookwood Broncos, and it happened at the 20th Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome.

Brookwood came into this game riding a 12-game winning streak, including winning the Georgia High School Association's AAAAA state championship last year.

Brookwood took a 6-0 lead into the fourth quarter against Lassiter. But the fourth quarter belonged to the Trojans as they scored two unanswered touchdowns to beat the Broncos, 14-6.
