Northeast Cobb Football's On the Road

Each Northeast Cobb football squad is away this Friday.

Lovers of Northeast Cobb's three high school football teams will have to spend a little more time on the road in order to attend this week's action in person.

Kell, Sprayberry and Lassiter are all visiting their respective opponents this week, and are looking to spoil some home cooking. Let's see where our road warriors will be and who they will be up against.

The Longhorns are coming off a 42-13 loss at the hands of rival Lassiter, and look to rebound at Creekview. The Grizzlies had a bye week last week after handling River Ridge 34-14 at the Grizzly Den. Creekview is 2-0 on the young season.

Sprayberry's Yellow Jackets will be at Forsyth Central to square off against the Bulldogs. Winless on the season, the Bulldogs most recently fell to Dawson County 48-29, despite amassing 422 yards on offesnse. The Jackets will look to sting the Bulldogs and send the nerdily-dressed Central Crazies home unhappy.

Jackets fans unable to make it to the game will be able to listen to the proceedings on the Georgia Prep Sports Network.

The Trojans will be in Canton, taking on the Cherokee Warriors. The Warriors will come out to play with a 1-2 record, most recently falling to North Forsyth 28-12. Lassiter will look to improve on their 3-0 record and number two ranking by defeating another Class AAAAAA opponent.

All three games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
