Nominate Young Volunteers for Kohl's Scholarship

Nominations accepted Feb. 1 - March 15.

Know a young leader who deserves a scholarship? Then mark your calendars – Kohl’s Department Stores will accept nominations for outstanding young volunteers when the annual Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program kicks off next week. 

Nominations for children ages 6 to 18 will be accepted Feb. 1 through March 15 at kohlskids.com. Nominators must be 21 or older.

Kohl’s will award more than 2,300 young volunteers more than $425,000 in scholarships and prizes.

  • Two nominees from each of the 1,100 Kohl’s stores nationwide will win a $50 Kohl’s gift card.
  • More than 200 of the local winners will go on to win $1,000 regional scholarships.
  • Ten national winners will be awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships, and Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a non-profit organization on each of the 10 winners' behalf. 

The scholarship program is part of Kohl’s Cares, the company's philanthropic program that works to improve the lives of children. Since the program's inception in 2001, Kohl’s has awarded more than 17,000 kids with more than $3.4 million in scholarships and prizes.
