'Honoring Our Heroes' Students Recognized
Students from East Cobb schools were celebrated last week for their efforts to pay homage to those serving in the military.
Thanks to reader Susa Jacob for this delightful photo of East and Northeast Cobb students who attended a reception at Daniell Middle School on Thursday as part of the "Honoring Our Heroes" essay contest.
We noted here last week in a item about essay winners from Wheeler High School that the contest was sponsored by the East Cobb County Council of PTAs, and it applied to students at all grade levels.

So amazing to hear the heart touching stories of Heroes of these kids who are touched in different ways of their lives. Wow, some of these teachers are amazing, they are true heroes. Mrs. Haag was a winner from Mount Bethel Elementary. Hopefully we will get more teachers like her.
