Graduation Time

Cobb public high school graduations kicked off Wednesday night.

The Cobb County School District (CCSD) expects to give 7,377 diplomas to students from its 16 high schools and three alternative schools this year.

10 high school graduation ceremonies will be held at Kennesaw State University's Convocation Center.

The Northeast Cobb schools holding their ceremonies at KSU's Convocation Center are Pope (474 graduates, 2:30 p.m. Thursday); Lassiter (452 graduates, 7 p.m. Thursday), and Kell (422 graduates, 2:30 p.m. Saturday).

Sprayberry's 376 graduates will have a graduation ceremony Friday at the Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta.

The KSU Convocation Center is the only location for Cobb graduations that provide live-streaming video of the ceremonies.

Watch the graduation ceremonies held at KSU on the school district website, www.cobbk12.org.
