Trojans Making Blankets for Project Linus

“Providing security through blankets"

Can you cut fleece, tie a knot, crochet, knit or quilt?  Want to learn and make blankets for donation to Project Linus?  We want students, faculty and community members who would like to gather to represent our Lassiter community in this important effort.

Project Linus is a national, non-profit organization and was chartered with a two-fold mission:

1.     “To provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.”

2.    “To provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.”
