Surviving the Holidays

Tuesday, December 6, 06:30 pm, 3455 Canton Rd, Marietta, GA, FREESt. Andrew United Methodist Church of Marietta will offer a “Surviving the Holidays” program from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011. The program offers comfort to individuals who lost loved ones in the last year, and are now experiencing anxiety as the holiday season approaches.

“In past years, the Christmas holiday season may have been a time of great anticipation and excitement, but individuals who lost loved ones in recent months may be feeling melancholy as they face the holidays without the people who meant so much to them,” said Rev. Mack Riley, senior pastor at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. “This program is designed to let these individuals know that they are not alone.”

“Anyone who feels anxious about celebrating this holiday without their loved one will find help at this one night seminar,” said Rev. Angie Crummie, associate pastor. “Anyone who has questions or wishes to register for ‘Surviving the Holidays’ can call the church office at 770-926-3488 or email angie@thepumpkinchurch.org.”
